Description
The Generalist Talent Acquisition Partner will help build and own the end-to-end recruitment process for Regal TSO (Theatre Support Office) across the US. This includes understanding hiring needs, developing sourcing strategies, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, managing offers and facilitating initial onboarding. They will be instrumental in building a high-performing culture by identifying, attracting and securing top talent to join the business. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of the US talent landscape, and the ability to work autonomously with a passion for establishing and refining recruitment processes.

The Generalist Talent Acquisition Partner will help build and own the end-to-end recruitment process for Regal TSO (Theatre Support Office) across the US. This includes understanding hiring needs, developing sourcing strategies, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, managing offers and facilitating initial onboarding. They will be instrumental in building a high-performing culture by identifying, attracting and securing top talent to join the business. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of the US talent landscape, and the ability to work autonomously with a passion for establishing and refining recruitment processes.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Talent Acquisition Management: Play a key role in establishing and documenting clear and efficient talent acquisition processes, workflows, and best practices for the US. Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle for all vacancies within Regal’s US Theatre Support Office (TSO) which includes Commercial, Finance, Marketing, HR, Film, IT and Real Estate departments. This will encompass understanding hiring needs, developing comprehensive sourcing strategies, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, managing offers, and facilitating the initial onboarding process. This also includes general administrative tasks related to the recruitment process.
- Proactive and Reactive Sourcing: Develop and execute innovative and effective sourcing strategies that include both proactive outreach to passive candidates through various channels (LinkedIn, networking, direct outreach, etc.) and efficient management of active applicants from job boards, social media, employee referrals, and the company careers website.
- Candidate Screening and Assessment: Review applications and conduct thorough initial interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, skills, and cultural fit against the specific requirements of each role and Regal’s core values (We Create, We Perform, We Inspire). Work to deliver high caliber candidate pools, continuously building talent pipelines to ensure there are multiple suitable candidates at any given point.
- Hiring Manager Partnership: Collaborate closely with hiring managers across diverse corporate departments to understand their specific talent needs, agree on job descriptions and define candidate profiles and requirements. Drive internal TA capability through coaching and providing expert guidance on recruitment processes, best practice selection approaches and interview techniques.
- Interview Coordination: Oversee all aspects of the interview process, including scheduling interviews, preparing and ensuring up-to-date interview materials and question banks, ensuring timely and professional communication with candidates and hiring teams, and gathering comprehensive feedback.
- Candidate Experience Advocacy: Champion a positive and engaging candidate experience at every stage of the recruitment process, ensuring timely communication, providing constructive feedback, and acting as a brand ambassador to potential candidates. Foster relationships with potential candidates and keep them engaged with the organization.
- Employer Branding Support: Contribute to the development and execution of employer branding initiatives to enhance Regal's visibility and reputation as an employer of choice within the US market. Manage the Careers Website to ensure up-to-date information and current vacancies are always displayed, utilizing creative copywriting on job adverts to maximize their attraction potential and best represent our culture.
- Offer Negotiation and Onboarding Support: Manage the offer process, including negotiating terms with selected candidates, extending offers, and collaborating with the wider HR team on the initial onboarding stages to ensure a smooth and positive transition for new hires.
- Recruitment Metrics and Reporting: Adopt a data-focused approach to talent acquisition, tracking and analyzing key recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, identify areas for continuous improvement, stay informed about industry trends and market salary rates, and provide regular updates and insights to stakeholders.
- Support for Cinema Recruitment: Provide support to cinema teams with their ‘difficult to fill’ positions (e.g., technical roles, niche roles, General Managers) when required.
- Deliver Critical Business Projects: Work on projects which improve the candidate experience and long-term development of key capabilities within the organization.
- Proven in-house, ‘direct hire’ recruitment experience across all levels, from entry roles through to leadership and executive roles
- Strong understanding of recruitment strategies, sourcing techniques and market trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A consultative approach with experience in challenging and influencing effectively, partnering with leaders to deliver end-to-end recruitment for specialist, hard-to-fill roles quickly and efficiently
- Confident working autonomously and passionate about delivering a people-centric approach to talent acquisition in a fast-paced environment
- While specific industry experience isn't essential, you are comfortable recruiting across a variety of corporate business areas and understand when a situation requires reactive, fast-paced execution or a strategic approach
- A proactive mindset and eager to contribute to building a strong foundation for talent acquisition in the US.
