Position Purpose: The Junior Business Analyst assists our analytics team and supports data-driven decision making across the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for creating powerful data visualizations, ensuring product quality while mitigating out-of-stock risks, and transforming data into actionable insights across all departments.

Position Purpose: The Junior Business Analyst assists our analytics team and supports data-driven decision making across the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for creating powerful data visualizations, ensuring product quality while mitigating out-of-stock risks, and transforming data into actionable insights across all departments.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Data Cleaning and Report Maintenance
- Extract, transform, and load data from internal and external sources into company database.
- Check data for accuracy and clean data where possible.
- Create and update SQL-based reports as necessary.
- Build new Power BI reports and change existing reports using Power Query and DAX.
- Sales Order Analysis
- Review customer orders for quality and timeliness.
- Compare orders versus forecasted demand.
- Leverage forecasted demand with wholesaler inventory levels to estimate whether future inventory levels will be within allowed ranges.
- Recommend order changes to wholesalers and area managers as needed.
- Routine Reporting and Ad-Hoc Support
- Update and publish collection of Power BI reports on weekly and monthly cadences.
- Develop reporting package analyzing chain and account-level sales performance, determining promotion performance, and determining potential sales opportunities.
- Assist with routine and ad-hoc data analysis across all departments.
- Evaluate future in-house inventory levels and make recommendations for production changes.
- Ensure smooth data transmission to and from internal SAP system.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- 0-2 years of relevant work experience, including internship experience.
- Excellent analytical skills
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
