Supply Chain Manager

The Supply Chain Manager oversees the processes for planning, scheduling, purchasing, and

shipping/receiving while also working to develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain process that is sustainable for growth.

• Manage and support the departments to procure materials, schedule sub-assemblies, final assemblies, outside manufacturing services, and to receive and ship deliveries.
• Identify, recommend, and implement short and mid-term improvements to current processes and reporting.
• Build relationships within the company and with external parties, including suppliers.
• Implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy.
• Optimize procurement and inventory strategy to effectively align with the current sales and operations plans.
• Develop and implement an integrated planning and scheduling approach that optimizes capacity and improves on-time metrics.
• Analyze historical data and market trends to forecast future demand.

Education – Experience

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field) or equivalent.
• 8 years of progressive experience in Planning with a strong background in Production Control, Warehousing, and Materials Management in a manufacturing environment.
• 3 years of Management experience.· MRP/ERP systems experience.
• ASCM/APICS certification a plus.

Required Skills, Competencies, Authorities and Training Needs:

Excellent organizational, analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills. Able to manipulate database data in spreadsheets using advanced Excel concepts.
