Summary
Provides support with Recreation Facilities Rentals and its personnel by
providing assistance to the Recreation Coordinator in regards to facility
rentals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties and
responsibilities are illustrative of the primary functions of this position
and are not intended to be all inclusive.
Assists internal and external customers with availability of facility rentals
and answer any basic questions.
Collaborates with other city departments for facility availability.
Assists with facility rental inquiries intake, rental processing and rental
contract preparation.
Performs data entry and may maintain databases and/or spreadsheets for the
department.
Performs administrative, general clerical, filing, and special projects
as assigned.
Participates as a member of a department collaborative team.
May assist in the support of other hourly employees.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Knowledge of general office equipment operations.

Specific knowledge of department related city ordinances, policies,
procedures, and regulations.
Specific knowledge of the services and programming offered by the department.
Ability to respond effectively to difficult or stressful situations.
EDUCATION And EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Minimum of
two years related customer service experience; or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
Event planning and/or execution preferred.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policies and procedures, safety
and technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability t write
reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to
effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of
managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete
variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to
interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram,
or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid driver s license.
May require current First Aid certification.
May require current CPR certification.
May require notary public certification.
