Tutor, High School Spanish

Description of the role

As a Tutor of High School Spanish at Tutor Doctor - North County San Diego, you will be responsible for providing 1:1, in-home, personalized and effective Spanish tutoring to high school students in N. County, San Diego. This role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' learning and academic achievement.

Responsibilities

• Create customized lesson plans tailored to individual student's needs and goals
• Deliver engaging and interactive tutoring sessions
• Assess students' progress and provide feedback
• Help students improve their Spanish language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing
• Provide additional resources and materials to support students' learning
• Coordinate with student's teacher to ensure prioritization of homework due dates, quizzes and test dates
  
  
  

Requirements

• Fluency in Spanish
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet student's individual needs
• Patience and enthusiasm for working with high school students
