Responsibilities
Day to day project and research management to support project desired outcomes, budgets and timelines. Informs the Principal Investigator of intended submissions and collaborates with their assigned reps. Effectively reviews study protocol and provides the necessary training for specific tasks with the individuals involved with the conduct of the study. Serves as research project manager providing oversight and assistance to research assistants and day-to-day activities including regulatory requirements, site coordination, human resources, travel and event planning.
Ensures guidance with protocol guidelines and requirements of regulatory agencies. Coordinates and actively recruits and acquires formal consent from study subjects for enrollment. Maintains confidential records of collected data, ensures accuracy and integrity of data.
Assists with preparation of proposal components, monitors forecasted budgets, prepares progress reports, and tracks and reports efforts of grant submissions.
Administrative support for research meetings, scheduling, human resources, travel and event planning.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma/equivalent and experience equal to six years. (Note: post-high school education can substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.)
This position requires successful completion of the eSPEAR Certification or ability to obtain the certification within 6 months of hire. https://www.research.fsu.edu/research-offices/sra/resources/training/espear/
