IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for a Laboratory Analyst – Chemistry position at its facility in Modesto, CA.

Ideal Candidates Will Possess The Following

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field (required)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with data entry and computer applications
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Exhibit excellent attendance and flexible to changing duties and work schedules
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 45lbs above waist level
  • Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory

Laboratory Analyst duties include: HPLC testing, sample preparation, reagent preparation, analytical testing via instrumentation, data entry, laboratory reporting, quality control, and other duties as assigned.

The pay rate for this position is $22.00 Hourly. Full-time employees are eligible for the following benefits after a brief waiting period: medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability insurance, 401(k), health and dependent care FSA plans, employee assistance program, 15 days of paid time off per year for sick leave and/or vacation, 3 days paid bereavement leave, and 6 paid holidays per year.

Applicants must be willing to work some shifts with overtime and some shifts on weekends. This schedule will cycle between Day (9:00am – 5:30pm) and Swing shifts (11:30am – 8:00pm and 2:00pm – 10:30pm).
