Essential Functions Includes (but Not Limited To)
- Research and compile content for the weekly employee newsletter.
- Review and update content on the dedicated Benefits page on the City's SharePoint site and benefits enrollment platform(s).
- Research, understand and present the latest health benefit solution ideas for employers.
- Conduct benefit audits to ensure data accuracy, plan compliance, and participant education.
- Help coordinate program events/activities such as walking challenges, physical fitness classes, etc.
- Participate in employee benefits training sessions and activities.
- Partner with consultants to provide support on projects through.
- Analyzing and comparing vendor products and services.
- Experience in using Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet creation and maintenance.
- Requires High School graduation or GED equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in benefits administration and/or wellness program coordination preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
- Knowledge of benefits regulations and wellness best practices
