Controller - Private Credit

A $15B AUM credit-focused investment firm is seeking a Controller to lead its Private Credit Focused Arm. This role will oversee accounting operations across various strategies while working closely with the investment team, investor relations, and senior leadership.

Job Function

• Oversee daily accounting activities, ensuring alignment with management's objectives
• Calculate and review management fees, incentive fees, and waterfall models
• Work with a diverse range of financial products, including fixed income securities, equities, repos, and financial derivatives (a plus)
• Accurately calculate NAVs for funds, ensuring proper valuation, income accruals, and expense allocations
• Prepare financial statements for multiple entities, reconciling intercompany transactions and ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 7-12 years of Public Accounting experience or relevant experience
• CPA Preferred
• Experience with Financial Products
