CVICU Registered Nurse (RN)

• Location: Sanford, FL
• Schedule: Full-Time – Days or Nights (Rotating Weekends)
• Pay Rate: $33.23 – $48.57/hr based on experience
• Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 for Days | $20,000 for Nights
• Relocation Assistance: Available (case-by-case)
• Shift Differentials: $4.50 for Nights | $1.50 for Weekends
  
  

Overview:

Seeking an experienced, compassionate CVICU RN to join a high-performing cardiac critical care team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a 12-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit providing close monitoring for post-op open heart and cardiac patients. Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess critically ill cardiac patients (1:1 or 1:2 ratio)
• Use advanced critical care protocols for post-cardiac surgery interventions
• Document and communicate effectively within EMR systems
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and families on treatments, discharge plans, and ongoing care
  
  

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Florida or Compact – must obtain FL license within 60 days of relocation)
• Associate Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred
• At least 1 year of recent CVICU or ICU RN experience in acute care required
• BLS (within 30 days), ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (within 6 months)
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification (within 6 months)
