and development. Position Summary As a Junior Retail Loan Underwriter,
you will perform various credit functions related to the analysis and
evaluation of retail loan products. You will also be responsible for
minimizing the risk or loss to the bank by utilizing established
guidelines. Additional duties will include communicating with lenders
and processors to ensure proper documentation is obtained. Skills &
Attributes Needed The following skills and attributes are needed to be
successful in your banking career as a Junior Retail Loan Underwriter:
Understanding of state, CFPB and OCC regulations to ensure all
documentation is accurate and falls within legal guidelines preferred
but not required. Must be able to work independently, accurately and
maintain good customer relations with the ability to adapt to varying
customer and transactional volume. Must be able to quickly re-establish
priorities, responding to the changing needs of the department.
Communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal forms.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality. Proficient in the use of
Microsoft Office. Qualifications Ideal Candidates Will Possess The
following qualifications: Prior exposure to retail loan documentation is
preferred. Associate or bachelor\'s degree in business or equivalent
