Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent service standards and maintaining high customer satisfaction, your multifaceted role involves:

  • Resolve customer complaints via phone and email
  • Reach out to customers and follow up on pending quotes
  • Greet customers warmly and ascertain problem or reason for calling
  • Assist with placement of orders, verbal quotes and overhaul inquires
  • Advise on company information and credentials
  • Take payment information and other pertinent information such as shipping address
  • Answer questions about warranties or terms of sale
  • Act as the company gatekeeper
  • Suggest alternate solutions when issues arise
  • Inform customer of better pricing when available
  • Sell products and services
  • Utilize computer technology to maximize production
  • Work with customer service manager to ensure exemplary customer service is being delivered
  • Invoice customers
  • Compile reports on customer activity such as volume
  • Handle changes in policies
  • Process all shipping documentation
  • Keep good communication with accounts receivables department to ensure customer is on good terms
  • Give customer multiple options when a unit does not pass test
  • Scan documents into Quantum database
  • Other duties may be assigned depending on department needs

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Customer Service experience
  • Computer use competency
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and driven
