A State Director is a passionate and results-oriented senior leader, championing Living Innovations' mission, vision, and values. State Directors drive organizational and operational success, ensuring ongoing compliance with Living Innovations' and Mosaic's high standards. You will be instrumental in empowering individuals to live fulfilling lives, ensuring their voices are heard, their unique needs and desires are understood, and their rights are fiercely upheld. Strong communication skills are essential for engaging effectively with contractors and all stakeholders, both internal and external.

In this impactful role, your key responsibilities will include:
Compliance & Quality:
- Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance.
- Oversee quality, person-centered program services.
- Uphold ethics and compliance standards.
- Contribute to policy development for quality and compliance.
- Oversee accident/incident investigations and corrective actions.
External Relations & Growth:
- Build community and state partnerships.
- Build relationships with state agencies, providers, and families.
- Represent Living Innovations at external groups.
- Stay informed on relevant trends.
- Participate in legislative processes.
- Identify strategic growth and service expansion opportunities.
Staff Management & Development:
- Cultivate an engaged workforce.
- Evaluate staff performance and address HR matters.
- Develop and adapt organizational structure.
- Project employment needs.
- Ensure proper staff orientation and training.
Financial and Operational Oversight:
- Enforce Living Innovations' policies and procedures.
- Support strategic programs and initiatives.
- Review and approve expenses.
- Develop budgets and conduct quarterly reviews.
- Ensure revenue and expenditure alignment.
What you will bring to the team:
- A bachelor's degree in human services and seven years of relevant experience in a social services or healthcare setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory and/or management capacity.
- A strong understanding of personalized services delivery.
- Proven success in budget management and human resources (preferred).
- Experience working collaboratively with government agencies and understanding relevant regulations.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
