Groundskeeper

Exploration Place is looking for a full-time Groundskeeper to help shape and maintain the outdoor experience at our riverfront museum campus.

This role supports the Grounds Supervisor in maintaining and improving the museum’s exterior spaces, including planting and trimming greenery and assisting with water features like our splash pad and pond. The ideal candidate will have experience in groundskeeping or horticulture, value high standards of appearance and safety, and take pride in creating welcoming, well-maintained public spaces.

Qualifications:

• Experience in groundskeeping, horticulture, or related volunteer programs
• Creative, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and working outdoors in all weather conditions

Schedule:

40 hours/week, typically Tuesday through Saturday, with occasional evenings or weekends for special events. Join our team and be part of creating a destination that begins before visitors even walk through the doors.
