Position Overview
Vidalta Residential is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Training Specialist to support the development and technical training of our Maintenance teams across all Vidalta communities. This role is ideal for a former Lead Maintenance Technician who is EPA-certified, tech-savvy, and passionate about teaching others. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience, working knowledge of RealPage Facilities, and the energy to help shape the next generation of maintenance professionals.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging in-person and virtual training sessions focused on maintenance procedures, safety, preventative care, and company standards.
- Develop, maintain, and update maintenance-related training materials, guides, and assessments
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for RealPage Facilities, offering guidance and troubleshooting support to onsite teams
- Partner with the Training and Operations teams to identify skill gaps and provide targeted coaching
- Conduct EPA Certification prep sessions and assist in proctoring where applicable
- Provide onboarding support for new maintenance team members and mentor trainees through structured programs
- Travel to communities to provide onsite support, observe performance, and deliver coaching aligned with standard operating procedures
- Assist with policy rollouts, compliance training, and seasonal preparedness sessions
- Minimum 5 years of onsite experience as a Lead Maintenance Technician in multifamily housing
- EPA Universal Certification is required
- Bilingual (English?and Spanish) a plus
- Strong working knowledge of RealPage Facilities or similar work order management systems
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using digital platforms, LMS systems, and mobile apps for training delivery
- Previous experience delivering or facilitating training preferred, but a strong passion for teaching and mentoring is required
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience building training content (videos, manuals, checklists, etc.) preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Committed to safety, quality service, and continuous learning
- Ability to work independently and manage a training schedule with up to 50% travel
- Must be based near or willing to commute to the Garland, TX office.
