This position is responsible for maintaining the facility.

**Daily Pay Available**
Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities:
Some of the specific duties of the position are as follows:
- Report to Maintenance Director/Supervisor
- Make minor repairs on handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, electrical equipment, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers, changes filters on HVAC equipment, lifts and stocks supplies.
- Take care of the tools and equipment.
- Operate in the TELS platform system for all Life Safety, regulatory and daily tasks.
Maintenance Assistant Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program required.
- Completion of orientation required by company policy.
- Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment.
- Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire.
- Must be free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check.
- Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year experience in Maintenance.
