Tesla is seeking a Business Development professional for Commercial Charging sales in North America. Your core responsibility will be B2B sales of Tesla’s Level 2 and Level 3 charging products (Wall Connector, Supercharger, Semi-Charging). You will develop, maintain and grow a productive network of key accounts covering Fortune 500 companies, third-party installers and distribution players.
This is a multi-faceted role where strong product and market knowledge is expected. Autonomous, high-motor approach to execution and achievement is key to success. High growth potential.
What You'll Do
- Drive ambitious growth in Commercial Charging sales across key accounts across North America, educate customers on electrification benefits, and recommend charging infrastructure based on use case
- Identify and negotiate contracts with new partners and anticipate existing partner needs, providing input on product development and market fit, while proactively identifying opportunities to close sales gaps and expand volume within assigned channels
- Develop and maintain highly productive partner-relationships, execute sales and service agreements for DC and AC charging collaborating (with Legal team support, as needed)
- Generate and maintain a robust sales pipeline across a wide array of customer sectors using Tesla’s proprietary CRM platform, and manage account relationships
- Enhance partner training, installation quality, and Tesla operations to improve fulfillment and customer support
- Deliver key market insights and contribute to Tesla’s regional product and sales strategy and support analysis of market dynamics, policy, and economic drivers across sectors (utility, commercial & industrial, residential, etc.)
- Develop impactful marketing and sales materials to support partner success and represent Tesla at events
What You'll Bring
- 4+ years of experience managing sales pipelines or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of North American EV charging markets preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Intrinsically motivated and outspoken about what is needed to complete tasks and exceed goals
