Business Development Representative

C & B Material Handling, LLC, a leader and supplier of choice in material handling equipment, automation solutions, and industrial equipment rental, is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) for our location in Roanoke, Virginia. The BDR will play a key role in driving parts and service business growth by acquiring new customers, selling service agreements, conducting operator training, and renting equipment, while also fostering strong relationships with existing clients. This position offers a base salary with an attractive commission and bonus structure, providing significant financial growth opportunities.

Essential Duties

• Cold call and actively pursue new customer business to drive parts and service growth.
• Sell preventive service agreements by presenting value and benefits to customers.
• Conduct operator training for material handling equipment to ensure proper usage and maintenance.
• Manage and coordinate the rental process for equipment, addressing customer needs and ensuring proper equipment maintenance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention.
  
  

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
