Description
Under the general supervision of the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) oversees all fiscal activities and reporting, develops budget models, tracks performance against budget, performs grant accounting and prepares the fiscal components of applications for grant funding, conducts financial analyses, and participates as part of the organization’s senior leadership team in short and long-term planning.
The incumbent directly supervises the Accounting, Billing, and Purchasing departments. Exercises conservative management of TCCH financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and establishes reporting systems, which conform to FASB, GAAP, Federal and State requirements.
The CFO supervises preparation of the organization’s financial statements; and coordinates the annual audit and budget development processes. S/he ensures compliance with filing requirements imposed by Local, State or Federal authorities relating to informational tax returns, cost reports, grant drawdown and financial reports. The incumbent prepares detailed financial analyses in support of human resources and business development projects.
Schedule: Mon - Fri 8:00am - 5:00pm
Salary: $145,000 - $195,750 DOE

Requirements
Education: Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Public Administration, or Healthcare Administration is required.
Experience: Three years’ prior experience as CFO or Controller is required. Experience in Healthcare and managing accounting and billing is strongly preferred.
License/Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is strongly preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Excellent working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial reporting, knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and third party policies; Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, accounting, payroll and practice management applications.
