About the Role:
As the Brand Manager, Seasonal and Kinder Innovation, you will report to the Senior Brand Manager and have high-level visibility within our global organization. Your role is crucial in assessing, building, and executing the vision for leadership for Kinder within the chocolate category and beyond in the US. You will execute plans for renovation and innovation in both the short and long term, with a focus on growth, development, and execution during the Seasons.
You will lead a cross-functional team to deliver renovation and innovation. You will play a key role in supporting the development of the overall seasonal brand strategy and will drive the growth of these initiatives from concept through to execution, along with the development of long lead innovation items.
This position is Hybrid, based out of our HQ in Parsippany, NJ

Main Responsibilities:
Business and Brand Analysis
- Analyze Business and Brand Results: Ensure strategies are effective and objectives are met, recommending course corrections as needed.
- Competitive Environment Insights: Maintain an understanding of the competitive landscape to inform insights, recommendations, and decision-making.
- Engaging Presentations: Prepare and create engaging, meaningful, and persuasive presentations.
- Budget Management: Own and actively manage the brand marketing budget, including planning, revisions, and reporting.
- Market Research Assistance: Assist in qualitative and quantitative market research, providing feedback on research design, completing input and stimuli deliverables, and participating in debriefs with recommendations.
- Innovation Development: Manage the activity grid implementation and innovation development autonomously, from concept through to launch.
- Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in project planning, development, and execution.
- Global Team Coordination: Lead relations with global teams for activity grid alignments and approvals.
- Customer Acceptance: Work closely with Category Management and Trade Marketing to develop compelling sell-in stories and toolkits.
- Supply and Demand Coordination: Ensure product and toy availability and forecast accuracy by working closely with supply and demand teams.
- Integrated Marketing Plans: Work autonomously with agency partners and internal teams across Media, E-commerce, Shopper, and PR to execute integrated marketing plans.
- Creative Asset Development: Collaborate with agency partners to develop creative assets for consumer and shopper activation.
- KPI Tracking and Optimization: Set and track KPIs, offering recommendations for optimizing plans and assets.
- Multi-Tasking: Comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Inter-Departmental Engagement: Engage with Trade Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Legal departments to assist in planning and executing initiatives.
- Vendor Management: Efficiently manage relations with third-party vendors, such as graphic design and research agencies, to obtain required output while minimizing costs.
- Senior Management Presentations: Comfortable presenting in front of senior management.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business; MBA is a plus
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in consumer-packaged goods brand marketing
- Experience working with syndicated databases; i.e. Circana, ACNielsen
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects within scheduled timelines
- Possesses solid project management skills (planning, execution and assessment)
- Well-versed in forecasting, budget management, product commercialization
- Ideal experience working within a Seasonal portfolio
- Knowledge of key trade channels (Convenience, Food, Drug, Mass, Club, e-Com)
- P&L management and global/upstream marketing experience are a plus
- Excellent analytical skills upon which to base decision-making
- Business acumen, with a knack for turning data into insights and recommendations
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Structured and organized in managing projects and timelines
- Team player able to effectively work with multi-functional team
