The ideal candidate will have prior experience in residential maintenance, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to resolving issues.

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team, servicing multi-family housing units across the Newark, Ohio area. This role will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of our properties.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in residential maintenance, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance across properties.
- Handle drywall repairs, painting, and light carpentry work.
- Respond to work orders in a timely manner and document completed tasks.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with company safety and quality standards.
- Assist with unit turnovers, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs.
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and report when items need restocking.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and address their concerns professionally.
- Experience: Previous experience in residential or multi-family property maintenance is required.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, appliances, and general repairs.
- Ability to use basic tools and equipment necessary for maintenance work.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Competitive pay of $21.00 per hour.
