Maintenance Technician

The SEPP Group is a private, not-for-profit housing agency funded by contributions from individuals, corporations, foundations, and the NYS Division of Housing. Established in 1968, SEPP provides quality, affordable housing in the Southern Tier and is designated as an RPC (Rural Preservation Company) by the NYS Division of Housing. The organization is dedicated to assisting senior citizens and individuals with disabilities in need of safe and affordable housing.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Maintenance Technician at The SEPP Group in Binghamton, NY. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and maintenance & repair tasks on a day-to-day basis.

• Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance skills
• Troubleshooting expertise
• Experience in Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Certification in maintenance-related field preferred
