Drafter Quality Assurance Specialist Job Description:

Drafter Quality Assurance Specialist Required Skills:
Review drawings for completeness and accuracy with high attention to detail.
- Engineering Product Data Management ( EPDM) experience is a plus.
- CAD modeling/drafting/design experience. (Solidworks, CREO, Zuken, Visio).
- Capable of reading mechanical drawings (part and assembly) and electrical drawings (wirelist, cable).
- Bill of Materials (BOM) experience.
- Experience reviewing documents for NAVSEA or similar environment.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure product accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
- Resolve and adjudicate comments for team/customers.
- Extensive GD&T experience
- Experience in machining/assembling cables or mechanical assemblies from drawings would be a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Drafting, Illustrating, Graphic arts or related engineering field and at least 5 years of experience; or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance which means you must be a U.S. Citizen.
