Overview

Empire Office is currently seeking an experienced FF&E Supply Chain Manager to join our growing and dynamic team in Miami, Florida. Metro Miami preferred, but remote will be considered. As the FF&E Supply Chain Manager, this individual will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring seamless coordination, efficiency, and excellence in the sourcing of FF&E solutions. We are seeking an individual with a unique blend of strategic leadership and hands-on execution, requiring both senior-level insight and operational follow-through. This role requires a strong background in supply chain management, made to order manufacturing, factory relationships, QC procedures, logistics, and a deep understanding of the hospitality/contact and residential B2B industry.

Job Responsibilities

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain initiatives with overall business goals.

Supplier Vetting and Management:

  • Identify and evaluate FF&E suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and agreements, with a special focus on overseas manufacturers/factories.
  • Qualify and vet overseas factories to ensure capabilities, experience, and quality align with production needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Recurring travel to visit potential/existing factories and supplier partners to establish/strengthen relationships and inspect production on active projects.

RFP Development and Execution

  • Lead the preparation, coordination, and execution of RFPs for factories.
  • Ensure RFPs reflect design intent, quality expectations, timelines, and pricing targets.
  • Analyze bids to identify the best partner and value across cost, quality, and capability.

Logistics and Distribution:

  • Oversee international logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation of

FF&E products.

  • Collaborate with logistics partners to optimize distribution networks and minimize lead times.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Implement efficient inventory control measures to minimize carrying costs while meeting customer demands.
  • Develop and execute inventory replenishment strategies to ensure product availability.

Quality Assurance:

  • Establish and maintain rigorous quality control processes to uphold product standards, including raw materials, construction and finishing methods, packing and tagging procedures.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to implement continuous improvement initiatives for product quality.

Cost Optimization:

  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction within the supply chain without compromising quality or service.
  • Implement cost-effective measures and monitor key performance indicators.

Qualifications

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Salary Range: $80,000 – $150,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • 7+ years of experience in FF&E supply chain management with manufacturing knowledge, and a focus on the hospitality and residential B2B industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of international, federal, state and local laws and affecting the procurement and importation of FF&E products
  • Proven track record of successfully managing supply chain operations.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems.
