Position Summary: We seek a qualified PM&R Physician to conduct non-treating medical assessments for veterans. Responsibilities include reviewing medical records, performing evaluations, and completing VA Disability Benefits Questionnaires via a secure online portal to assist in disability determinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze veterans' medical records online.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments without providing treatment.
• Complete and submit DBQs accurately within 24 hours.
• Assess up to four veterans daily.
  
  

Schedule: Part-time, in person, traveling between McAllen, Laredo, and Corpus Christi.

Requirements

• Active MD or DO license in PM&R.
• Board certification in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology preferred; residency completion considered.
