The CT Technologist performs routine and advanced imaging procedures, supports team members, and ensures efficient patient flow.
- Responsibilities include adhering to departmental policies, promoting staff development, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Provides patient-centered care by adapting methods to meet diverse needs and assists radiologists and physicians effectively.
- Ensures accurate image storage in PACS, troubleshoots equipment issues, and follows downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser.
- Participates in ongoing education, safety, and technical updates, demonstrating flexibility in shifts and locations.
- Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Radiology Technology program, ARRT registration in Radiography and CT, Texas MRT license, BLS, and preferred 1-year CT experience.
- This is a PRN, per diem role requiring basic computer skills and commitment to professionalism and patient safety.
