- Responsibilities include using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, focusing on health promotion, illness prevention, and supportive care.
- Utilize the AACN Synergy Model to identify patient needs, delegate tasks, and coordinate care with healthcare teams, patients, and families.
- Preferred candidates have 1+ year ICU experience, a nursing degree (Bachelor's preferred), an active RN license in Alabama, and BLS certification; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on the department.
- Work primarily in a hospital setting with 3-12 hour shifts, located at UAB Hospital's Perioperative Services department.
