Position Summary

The Associate Desktop Technician provides entry-level, on-site technical support and maintenance for desktop and mobile systems, hardware, software, peripherals, and related technologies in a healthcare environment. This role focuses on resolving routine technical issues, assisting end users, and escalating complex problems when necessary. Leveraging a foundational understanding of PCs, mobile devices, printers, network connectivity, and clinical software, the Associate Desktop Technician ensures seamless technology operations to support clinical and administrative staff.

This position requires flexibility to accommodate varying schedules, support multiple locations, and to participate in on-call rotations.

Experience

Position Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of desktop support experience is required.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot IT systems, including networked PC and mobile devices and clinical software also required.
  • One or more years of desktop support experience in a healthcare setting, preferred.

Education

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent/additional experience), preferred.

Licensure

  • Possession of a valid Driver's License with proof of safe driving record for the past ten years and proof of auto insurance is required. Must obtain Oregon Driver's License within 30 days of moving to Oregon (if applicable).
  • Preferred Certifications
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator (MD-100, MD-101, MD-102), ITIL Foundation, or similar certifications.
