Responsibilities

Description

The Data Services team is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Data Services Analyst to support our growing Data Governance and Analytics function. This role serves as a critical liaison between business users and our data platform, ensuring timely, secure, and accurate access to data. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with excellent communication skills to support data operations, platform administration, and governance standards.

Your Day-to-day Job Will Consist Of

  • Manage and triage the team’s ticket queue, assisting in sprint management and ensuring timely resolution of data-related requests
  • Respond to and fulfill inbound data access, reporting, and analytics requests from business stakeholders
  • Administer the data platform, including user access, permissions, and environment maintenance
  • Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to support data extraction, analysis, and reporting needs
  • Act as a liaison between data engineering, analytics, and business teams to align technical solutions with business needs
  • Support data governance efforts, including data quality checks, documentation, and compliance workflows
  • Monitor data workflows and platform performance to identify and resolve issues proactively
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, documentation, and process improvements for knowledge sharing

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in a data-focused role (e.g., data operations, analytics, reporting, or platform support)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL for querying large datasets
  • Experience with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar)
  • Understanding of data governance concepts including data quality, privacy, and documentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional team settings
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, FreshService) and workflow management

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $58,600 - $79,300 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; specific geographic location; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
