What’s the opportunity?

IMS is seeking an Assistant Account Executive to support the Skokie, IL team. The position provides support for the McDonald’s branded merchandise sales team through product sourcing, obtaining quotes, placing purchase orders, managing bulk orders and consolidating billing.

The Skills And Experience You Have

Responsibilities:


  • Support sales team by sourcing product, obtaining quotes and placing POs in JDE
  • Create and manage bulk orders.
  • Prepare and consolidate billing for client/sales team for direct orders
  • Deliver superior service to clients
  • Build trust and respect across all contacts, both clients and IMS
  • Proactive resolution for client issues or concerns
  • Improve marketing initiatives targeting multi-cultural audiences
  • Adhere to project timelines and budgets across all projects
  • Prepare and maintain weekly project reports for review with client and internal team members
  • Provide back-up support for other team members and assist in various special assignments as needed


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing
  • 1-2 years of account management or marketing experience
  • Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and manage priorities under tight timelines; willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Critical thinking, strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks effectively and efficiently
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and requests in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a team player, self-starter, and detail-oriented
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products with proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Salary Range for this job is $45k to $55k - The salary range provided in this job posting is an estimate based on market data and internal equity. Final compensation will be determined based on knowledge, skills, experience, location, and other relevant factors, such as certain certifications that may be desired for this role.
