The Role You’ll Contribute
The Physician Relations Specialist is responsible for increasing physician engagement and for growing market share of AdventHealth Mid-America. This includes developing and maintaining relationships with physicians and their practices; serving as a liaison between physicians and administrators and leaders to resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise; promoting and marketing AdventHealth services; and positively influencing referral patterns. They will partner with the director and the growth council leadership team to serve as a catalyst for driving service line growth by helping execute referral growth strategies. The Physician Relations Specialist is expected to attend assigned medical staff department and committee meetings, and to follow-up on action items as necessary in a timely manner. In addition, the Physician Relations Specialist will assist in planning assigned professional and social events for physicians and their families. The Physician Relations Specialist must be a proficient computer user and be able to accurately utilize a web-based physician relations management tool.

- Effective in maintaining and growing business to AdventHealth from physicians as indicated in volume reports.
- Helps implements strategic business development and growth strategies while appropriately setting tracking mechanisms within Sales Force to track results and demonstrate a positive ROI
- Trusted partner in executing volume driving business development growth strategies
- Maintains and grows accurate knowledge of current trends in the healthcare market and physician arena. Tracks key visits, blitzes, opportunities, and issues in Sales Force daily and syncs data weekly. Completes event reports, including ROI for each event, and provides reports to administration on a quarterly basis.
- Be a trusted resource to physicians in order to be viewed as an approachable hospital representative.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1 Training or Teaching Experience
- 2 Years of Position-Related Experience
- Valid driver's license
- 5 Years of Position Related Experience
- Sales Experience
- RN, LPN, or LRT licensed preferred
