We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Your Responsibilities On The Team

• Collaborate with technology engineering leaders to understand functional and non-functional requirements.
• Promote a collaborative team environment and work closely with engineering leads to achieve business objectives.
• Adhere to architecture, design, implementation, and security standards and best practices set by the technology team.
• Work on research projects and prototypes related to image analysis
• Prepare technical documentation and manuals.
• Participate in code reviews and understand review comments partnering with senior engineers and ensure feedback is implemented
• Seek to learn and stay abreast of new technology and programming trends to apply those in your development work
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer information systems
• Growth mindset and a willingness to learn new skills, technologies, and frameworks.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Basic knowledge of semantic HTML and modern CSS.
• Knowledge of JavaScript (TypeScript) and understanding of basic principles of development.
• Familiarity with JavaScript UI libraries (example: react.js, vue.js, etc.).
• Understanding of how websites and web servers work and communicate with each other.
• Experience with version control tools (GitHub, BitBucket, etc.)
  
  
  

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
