Devops Engineer II Build automation framework for IT infrastructure, w focus on growing infrastructure thru server provisioning, config mgmt, availability monitoring and cyclical maintenance. Duties: analyze biz reqs, design/implement automation solutions; devel and maintain sys automation docs and version control; create and update server install/config standards OS, hardware, software, version; lead quality improvement process w ops and deployment teams; deploy and maintain software and system monitoring services; deploy continuous integration and deployment enviro; mentoring of others on toolsets and technologies. Home worksite (domestic U.S.). Reqd: cert as AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate). MS in IT or Comp Sci, w research involving implementation of demand-based automatic scaling service on AWS; in lieu of MS, BS in IT or Comp Sci w 2 yrs exp as DevOps engineer, incl IaC deployment, mgmt, and ops on AWS platform utilizing Github, CircleCI, and Terraform; developing config mgmt w Ansible and AWX and/or AWS based automation tools; deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant systems on AWS; server OS incl Windows and Linux; and programming or scripting in PowerShell, CURL, UNIX shell, Python, Ruby, Bash and JSON Experience in software deployment procedures and version control.
