40 hours per week, M-F, 8am-5pm

$65,000.00-$70,000.00 annual salary

Basic Function Of The Residential Program Manager - Doc

Provide operational supervision of residential program staff, services, clients and program facilities.

Responsibilities Of The Residential Program Manager - Doc

  • Under the guidance of the CAO, implement standards that are in compliance with all Justice and Residential policies for the management of residential programs.
  • Operate building within the guidance provided by the funding source.
  • Provide staff and resident supervision 24/7.
  • Ensure that all staff orientation and training are provided, including on-going professional development.
  • Recommend hiring and discipline of all employees as appropriate.
  • Ensure building has 24/7 coverage, supported by an on-call network.
  • Ensure health and safety through routine inspections and appropriate remedial action.
  • Prepare routine and special reports.
  • Oversight and accountabikity of case management and employment services for building residents.
  • Excellent motivation and accountability skills.
  • Serves as a community liaison tn the Greater Wterbury Community on community based residential programing.
  • Serve as liason to the Department of Corrections, Parole and other oversite entities.
  • Responsible for effective implementation of PREA Prison Rape Elimination Activiites.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS OF THE RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM MANAGER - DOC:

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field.

Experience

  • Minimum three years' experience in social service/helping profession, plus two years as a supervisor.
  • Residential program experience highly recommended.
  • Evidence of maturity and experience necessary to assume responsibility and initiative for all aspects of program.
  • Experience working with offenders preferred.

Licenses / Certifications

Current CT Drivers license / current CT required insurance / own transportation.
