WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a RN - OR - Local Contract for a contract assignment at Prestigious Surgery Center in Hamden, CT. Temp to perm role!

Job Function

  • Day Shift.
  • 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
  • Position patients and adjust equipment to capture high-quality images as directed by physicians.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures, both physically and emotionally.
  • Follow strict radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure for patients and staff.
  • Assess procedural conditions and equipment functionality to support accurate diagnostics.


Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
  • Active RN license in the state of practice.
  • 2 years of OR experience.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
