Our New York office is located in Midtown near the iconic Bryant Park and the historic Grand Central Terminal, New York's best-connected office neighbourhood. The beautifully designed office has 360 views and tall windows to bring the outside in. The office is open with plenty of rooms and booths to take a private call, have time to relax, work in private, or have a large collaborative meeting
THE ROLE

We are looking for a People Operations Specialist, specializing in benefits administration, to help us round out our North American People Operations function. You’ll be responsible for creating a world class experience for our employees. You’ll be a proactive, progressive HR operations professional, with solid experience in HR Operations: payroll, benefits, and the HRIS system. You’ll have worked in a fast-paced environment, have excellent attention to detail, and an innovative and positive approach. You’ll be part of a small, growing team with an opportunity to make a huge impact!

WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Execute plans to increase process and system functionality (eg, HRIS, leave of absence, and payroll functionality);
    • Lead benefits open enrollment and oversee all data related to benefits feeds;
    • Research new benefit offers/optimization and create rollout plans;
    • Put in place data integrity protocols to ensure systems accuracy and compliance; generate local reporting;
    • Partner with global teams on systems and tools implementation;
    • Audit systems for accuracy and resolve issues;
    • Research and establish toolkits and approaches for People Operations functions like onboarding and offboarding, under oversight of Senior Head of Rewards and Head of People Partnering, North America;
    • Collaborate with People Partners to provide expertise in systems, processes, and protocol related to People Operations functions (benefits, leave of absence, compliance);
    • Run payroll and identify opportunities to optimize;
    • Oversee local employee files;
    • Complete and file local government reports such as EEOC reporting;
    • Partner with global team and build out local teams to identify trends and make recommendations;
    • Respond to employee questions.

WHO YOU ARE

    • You have HR Operations and benefits experience at an advisory level, in a fast-paced, high-growth or progressive environment;
    • You have experience with payroll, reporting, and benefits administration;
    • You have experience in HR data systems and processes. Full working knowledge of Workday would be an advantage;
    • You have excellent knowledge of US payroll laws;
    • You are proactive, with an ability to problem solve and understand issues in the context of the bigger picture and business impact;
    • You are data driven, with an ability to translate analytics into insights and actions;
    • You have clear, succinct and influential written and verbal communication skills;
    • You are a master of organization with an ability to work to tight deadlines
    • You have high level of attention to detail;
    • You are an ambassador of change, with a dynamic approach to work.

NYC WAGE TRANSPARENCY LAW

    • The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $70,000 and $80,000 [year]; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
    • If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
