Freedom Motors USA is seeking a full-time, on-site Automotive Interiors Technician to join our team in Battle Creek, MI. The Interiors Technician will be responsible for removing, repairing, modifying, refurbishing and the reinstallation of the interior components of accessible vehicles including but not limited to interior panels, carpeting, padding seats, and trim.

Freedom Motors USA is seeking a full-time, on-site Automotive Interiors Technician to join our team in Battle Creek, MI. The Interiors Technician will be responsible for removing, repairing, modifying, refurbishing and the reinstallation of the interior components of accessible vehicles including but not limited to interior panels, carpeting, padding seats, and trim.
What you'll do:
- Remove and install interior including carpeting, padding, plastic panels, trim, fabric accessories, etc. using hand tools according to Freedom Motors procedures under minimal supervision.
- Assemble and install automotive seats.
- Perform trouble-shooting of equipment as needed.
- Modify plastic panels as needed. Connect and reinstall.
- Operate and troubleshoot interior/electrical system.
- Use hand tools including, but not limited to, impact drivers, hand drills, band saw, etc.
- Assist other areas as needed.
- Coursework beyond High School Diploma preferred.
- Labor experience with carpentry, finishing experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to accurate use tape measure and read and interpret blueprints.
- Demonstrated initiative, willingness to take on greater challenges, and highly self-motivated.
- Ability to use hand-tools including, but not limited to, grinder, body saw, impact drivers, hand drills, etc.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong time-management skills, attention to detail, trouble-shooting skills, and pride in craftsmanship.
- Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times.
- Outstanding attendance record and reliability.
