Location: Wheeling, Illinois
Employment Type: Full-Time / Non-Exempt
Shift: 6:00am to 4:30pm, 4 days a week, Mon-Thurs
Pay Range: $20 to $25 per hour

About The Role
Produce components efficiently and accurately by operating and maintaining HAAS Vertical Mill / related equipment and similar ancillary machines.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for production and operation of multiple HAAS milling machines in team-based environment
- Responsible for general/daily maintenance on machines to keep up with production.
- Responsible for ensuring quality of parts through regular inspection during production.
- Follow all safety guidelines as stated by the company.
- Read and understand blueprints and basic geometric dimension tolerancing (will train)
- Inspect parts through use of visual and manual inspection equipment (caliper, micrometer etc.), as well as programmed CMM equipment (will train).
- Make offsets & change tooling per provided layout (will train).
- Communicate with fellow team members, management, and other stakeholder of job status and party quality.
- Cooperative, team-focused attitude
- Must have excellent hand-eye coordination and good manual dexterity in both hands
- Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand/walk throughout the day for the entire shift.
- Ability to read English and follow standard operating procedure instructions
- Communicate / train others when needed
- Ability to inspect parts through use of visual and manual inspection equipment (caliper, micrometer etc.) as well as programmed CMM equipment (will train).
- Complete Operation Basics Training.
- Previous HAAS Milling experience preferred.
