MRO

Date: 1 week ago
City: Norristown, Pennsylvania
Contract type: Full time
The Senior IT Procurement Analyst will help IT teams within Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) to manage their growth and provide a trusted source to assist with critical infrastructure purchases, day-to-day procurement activities, and cost-savings initiatives. In addition, the Senior IT Procurement Analyst will develop MRO’s software asset management inventory system and related workflows to create a centralized repository of all software assets. The ideal candidate has a broad array of finance, procurement, or technical experience capable of navigating unique teams, products, platforms, and licensing models to avoid service failures related to procurement domains (such as having inadequate licensing tied to a critical project) and unlock value in optimizing our licensing structure, tiers, benefits, co-terminations, and process refinement.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • License Management: Oversee and manage software license renewals, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements and optimizing license usage. Familiar with large licensing models such as CSP/NCE and able to help drive discussion and make recommendations with respect to the best models to pursue for MRO.
  • Software Asset Management: Develop and manage MRO’s software asset management solution and workflows. Ensure software purchase dates, invoices, owners, and seat counts are properly documented.
  • Procurement Coordination: Partner with ETS teams to coordinate IT purchases, ensuring timely acquisition of necessary technology and services. Evaluate existing workflows to execute purchases and recommend changes to reduce time to receipt.
  • Financial Collaboration: Work closely with finance teams and the FP&A Director to obtain necessary approvals and manage budget allocations for IT purchases. Educate and evangelize the proper due diligence and approval workflows to ETS teams.
  • Cost-Savings Evaluation: Identify and evaluate opportunities for cost savings across ETS domains. This includes excess licensing, duplicative or competitive solutions, or abandoned products.
  • Vendor Management: Manage day-to-day vendor relationships, such as coordinating regular QBRs, aligning on process, or expediting critical purchases.
  • Platform Utilization: Leverage vendor and finance portals to manage all aspects of IT procurement, such as ZIP (payment workflows), Atlassian, Microsoft, and Adobe. Support needs for documentation and reporting using these portals such as user exports, ‘clean-up’ activities, or related.
  • Project Management: Handle multiple projects, vendors, timelines, and stakeholders concurrently, ensuring that all procurement activities align with organizational goals and timelines. This can include large project roll-outs with procurement components, such as corporate acquisition or divestiture with subsequent service, software, or vendor alignments.
