As a member of the Immersive Production Technology Team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of products and software solutions using cutting-edge technology to support our production, post-production, and marketing teams.
Job Description We are looking for a talented Front End Software Engineer to join our dynamic team.
As a Software Engineer focused on Immersive Technology, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying software solutions that enable visual effects artists, production teams, and executives across all of the Walt Disney Studios banners to creatively and efficiently tell their stories.
You will be instrumental in building applications across various platforms, including the Apple Vision Pro, all with the goal of helping our Studio make our films.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with a team of software engineers and subject matter experts to design, build, test, and deploy software solutions for production workflows.
Work with fellow engineers to create smooth, efficient, and dynamic user experiences.
Prioritize and estimate work within an agile scrum process using user stories.
Troubleshoot issues and implement defect fixes
Internal/custom studio shared services platform(asset repository); split work between POC'ing building new integrations with new and existing systems and adding additional functionality/features for their existing asset repository.

Skills And Requirements
- 3 plus years of industry experience
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript / ReactJS
- Knowledge and experience using source control and CI tools such as GitLab and GitHub
- AWS
- local; Glendale 3 to 4 days per week - Familiarity with databases, including PostgreSQL.
