Automotive Detailer

Job Summary:

Moss Motors, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Automotive Detailer. This full-time, hourly position is located in Lafayette, Louisiana and offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $10 to $14 per hour, paid biweekly. As an individual contributor, the Automotive Detailer will be responsible for maintaining the appearance of vehicles in our dealership's inventory and customer vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and detail vehicles, both interior and exterior, in accordance with dealership standards and customer requests.
• Inspect vehicles to identify any damage or defects and report to management.
• Utilize various cleaning and detailing products, tools, and equipment to ensure a high-quality finish.
• Perform tasks such as washing, waxing, buffing, and vacuuming to restore vehicle appearance.
• Keep track of inventory and report any necessary restocking to management.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines when working with chemicals and equipment.
• Work with sales and service departments to ensure vehicles are ready for customer delivery.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous detailing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of various cleaning and detailing products, tools, and equipment.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
