Reports To: Sr Manager of Innovation Exemption: Non-Exempt

Position Purpose: The Snow Tire Production Manager leads the Snow Tire Production team and oversees all aspects of production for the facility ensuring a safe and operational working environment, a healthy team atmosphere, and quality of product. Production for the Snow Tire facility includes Curious brands, contract brewing, and RTD’s.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Lead Snow Tire Production Team:
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Snow Tire Production team.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Ensure team members are trained and adhere to SOPs and safety guidelines.
  • Monitor team performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Assist the team in production duties where necessary.
  • Quality Control and Operational Management
  • Ensure all products meet Quality Control (QC) targets.
  • Create, maintain, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Develop and manage production schedules to ensure timely execution.
  • Assign and oversee the execution of regular preventative maintenance on equipment to the Snow Tire Production Team. Work with Maintenance Team to prioritize and plan maintenance projects that are outside of the abilities of the Snow Tire Production Team.
  • Lead and execute continuous improvement projects as directed by the Senior Manager of Innovation.
  • Work with Senior Manager of Innovation to create new recipes and maintain quality of current brands.
  • Assist in developing the release schedule for all Snow Tire brands alongside the Senior Manager of Innovation, Taproom leadership, and the Director of Curiosity.
  • Work with Distiller to order ingredients and allocate production team labor where necessary.
  • Record Keeping and Organization
  • Oversee the team’s management of raw materials and ensure the team’s accurate accounting for inventory.
  • Communicate changes or issues in production through the appropriate channels.
  • Oversee raw materials management.
  • Manage Obeer scheduling and entries such as expression of production orders and management of purchase orders, ensure accurate data entry.
  • Safety and Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to protect employees and products.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
  • Provide training and education to staff on safety and compliance issues
  • Purchasing and Budget Adherence:
  • Ensure adherence to budgetary constraints without compromising quality.
  • Monitor monthly budget performance and identify areas for cost savings.
  • Provide regular budget reports and updates to the Senior Manager of Innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Brewing Science, Food Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ year of experience in brewing operations
  • Leadership or previous management experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of brewing equipment, processes, and quality control standards.
  • Experience with project management and process improvement initiatives.
  • Proficiency in using brewing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
