Entry Level HR Specialist

Home Instead Senior Care is a trusted provider of compassionate, high-quality home health care services. We are dedicated to helping patients live healthier, more independent lives at home. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated Entry Level HR Specialist to support our expanding team. This is an ideal role for someone early in their HR career who wants to make a meaningful impact in health care staffing, compliance, and recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting HR and compliance audits, including employee credential verification, background checks, and licensure tracking to meet state and federal home care regulations.
• Develop recruitment strategies for sourcing home health aides, and CNA's using job boards, community outreach, and digital platforms.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified health care candidates by leveraging sourcing tools and databases.
• Conduct final interviews with home health aides and CNA's.
• Ensure all onboarding documents (TB tests, CPR certifications, etc.) are collected and updated in a timely manner.
• Conduct employee orientation for home health aides and CNAs.
• Maintain accurate employee files in accordance with HIPAA and internal audit procedures.
• Help implement employee engagement and retention initiatives tailored to field-based staff.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• HR, recruiting, or healthcare administrative support experience preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare credentialing, HRIS/ATS systems, or compliance tracking is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, especially when handling sensitive documents.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
