Software Intern, R&T
With the help from other development and test engineers in the team, you will apply software development and test skillset to develop and verify mobile app being developed in the department. You will thrive in an inter-disciplinary team environment comprising researchers, clinicians, and engineers who are passionate about translating novel concepts for merging cochlear prosthetic devices with the connected world of today to practical solutions for connecting patients to the world of sound.
Responsibilities:
The Software Intern will help be responsible for all aspects of Quality Assurance across multiple software development projects, including both manual and automated testing

Responsibilities:
The Software Intern will help be responsible for all aspects of Quality Assurance across multiple software development projects, including both manual and automated testing
- Help ensure the delivery of high-quality software on time
- Proactively and effectively communicate with team members, software developers, and management regarding QA status and deliverables, highlighting risks and issues
- Execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Identify coverage deficiencies and enhance the test coverage
- Review test plans/cases with developers and manager to ensure consistency and adherence to functional requirement documents
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Follow standard testing procedures and provide recommendations for improvement
- Be assigned a personal mentor for daily support and guidance
More about you:
Education
- B.S in Computer Science or related discipline or in progress achieving such degree
- B.S or M.S in Computer Science or related discipline
Nice to Have
- Previous internship experience or working experience in related field.
- Strong commitment to taking accountability and generating timely high-quality results.
- Ability to advance initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity. Self-starter.
- Team player who exhibits effective interpersonal skills with a collaborative style.
- Ability to react quickly to a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- Good communication skills (speaking and listening).
- Collaborative mindset that welcomes input and contributions from diverse colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills and collaborative mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- English/ Advanced
- MATLAB, Python, Mobile app dev and test, Familiarity of iOS and Android platform. Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Development experience for Kotin, Swift, C# or equivalent
