The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers patient care tailored to the specific age group served, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in line with unit standards and organizational goals.
- Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN license (NM or Compact), and BLS certification within two weeks of hire.
- Maintains necessary certifications within six months if not already held.
- Possesses current knowledge of patient population needs, effective communication skills, and respects patient rights.
- Reports to the Patient Care Director or Manager, works in a clinical environment with exposure to infectious diseases, and handles emergency situations.
- Must meet physical demands such as standing, walking, lifting, and fine motor tasks, with normal or corrected vision and hearing.
