This EMT-Basic role involves providing timely pre-hospital basic life support and transportation for sick and injured patients.
- Conduct patient assessments and assist medical personnel.
- Administer BLS care within licensure and protocols.
- Handle patients safely during transport and transfer patient info to receiving facilities.
- Maintain and document equipment, supplies, and vehicle readiness.
- Operate ambulance safely, follow communication regulations, and adhere to safety and operational policies.
- Perform basic extrication and scene control if needed and assist with station duties.
- Meet physical demands, including lifting and working in diverse environments, and possess required certifications and licenses.
- Maintain professionalism, effective communication, and teamwork while following safety and training protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure quality emergency care and transportation.
