This position is for a competent Nurse with experience in a similar clinical setting, practicing independently and providing routine to complex care.
- Manages a 24-bed high-acuity unit caring for cardiac and medical-surgical patients with various co-morbidities, including post-cardiac interventions and ventilator-dependent patients.
- Provides evidence-based care, assesses patient needs, administers medications, monitors treatments, and documents care.
- Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families, offering education and support.
- Requires a BSN preferred, at least 1 year of related experience (new graduates accepted), and current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Works scheduled from 7PM to 7AM, full-time.
- New hires attend orientation, complete competency validations, and obtain necessary certifications within specified timeframes.
