Position Overview

Join a purpose-driven environment as Executive Assistant to the Executive Director of an innovative nonprofit. This role is perfect for someone who wants to learn all aspects of nonprofit operations while contributing to meaningful work that saves lives. You'll be a trusted partner supporting high-level administrative, strategic, and operational initiatives in a startup-like nonprofit environment.

What You'll Do

Executive Support

  • Manage communications, correspondence, and scheduling for the Executive Director
  • Draft presentations, reports, and briefings
  • Coordinate coalition work and stakeholder relationships
  • Maintain confidential information with integrity

Board & Project Management

  • Coordinate board meetings, prepare agendas, and maintain records
  • Manage projects independently from conception to completion
  • Create newsletters, annual reports, and marketing materials
  • Develop Google Ads campaigns and analyze data
  • Submit weekly progress reports

Community Impact

  • Support crisis hotline operations
  • Build relationships with schools, businesses, and foundations
  • Develop social media strategy for community outreach
  • Recruit and coordinate volunteers/interns
  • Plan educational initiatives about domestic violence resources

What We're Looking For

Required

  • Bachelor's degree + 2+ years administrative experience
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.)
  • Experience with Adobe, Canva, and other design tools
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle

Preferred

  • Experience supporting nonprofit executives
  • Knowledge of domestic violence resources and victim rights
  • Social media and digital marketing experience

Compensation & Benefits

  • Schedule: 29 hours/week (Mon 11am-4pm, Tue-Fri 10am-4pm)
  • Pay: $27.00/hour
  • Benefits: 401K, sick leave, mileage reimbursement
