Malignant Hematologist — Grand Rapids, MI – MD/DO

University of Michigan Health-West, a leader in Healthcare in Grand Rapids, Michigan is seeking a full-time Hematology/Oncology Physician to join our expanding, multi-discipline team. OPPORTUNITY DETAILS:

  • Ability to work closely with a partnering team of specialists encompassing 37+ specialty care and hospital-based service lines
  • Play a key role in providing exceptional care to patients with hematologic malignancies, including leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, and advanced practice providers to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct and participate in clinical research, contributing to the advancement of malignant hematology.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging therapies and clinical trial opportunities for patients.
  • Educate and mentor medical students, residents
  • Develop strong relationships with patients and their families, providing emotional support and guidance throughout their treatment journey.
  • Participate in tumor board meetings and provide expert consultation to other healthcare providers.
