Baker / Ice Cream Maker

Weckerly’s Ice Cream is a small, scratch-made ice cream company dedicated to creating high-quality products with locally sourced ingredients. As we gear up for a busy summer and expand our year-round wholesale and retail operations, we’re looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join our production team.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced kitchen, perfect for someone who thrives in a team environment and takes pride in precision and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare recipes for baking and ice cream production
• Operate commercial kitchen and ice cream equipment
• Process ingredients, cut sandwiches, wrap and package finished products
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization
• Receive deliveries and assist with inventory
• Complete daily food safety and equipment check logs
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous culinary experience required
• Baking experience strongly preferred (our most successful team members often have baking backgrounds)
• Able to lift 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and efficient working within a small team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety
• Must be available year-round
